Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RENMethod.com (the "Site") and the Feng Shui and Bazi services offered by The REN Method, operated by MeetREN ("The REN Method," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, booking a session, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1.Payments, Refunds & Rescheduling

All payments are final and non-refundable. Because each engagement reserves dedicated time and your Bazi report and analysis are prepared in advance, we do not offer refunds once a booking is made.

We are happy to reschedule:

  • 1:1 Consultation: reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice.
  • Classical Feng Shui engagement: reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice; the kickoff call should be scheduled within 30 days of purchase.
  • No-shows and late cancellations (less than the notice above) forfeit the session and are not eligible to reschedule.

Payments and scheduling are handled by third-party providers (such as Calendly and Stripe) under their own terms and privacy policies.

2.Privacy & Your Data

The Bagua / Kua number calculator runs entirely in your browser. The birth date and gender you enter are used only to perform the calculation on your device and are never collected, transmitted, or saved by us. You may run it as many times as you like.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site (for example, pages viewed, general location, and device type). This service uses cookies and collects standard, aggregated usage data in accordance with Google's privacy policy. It does not capture the details you enter into the calculator.

When you book a service, you may voluntarily share information such as your birth date, time, and location, along with photos, videos, or floor plans of your home. We treat this information as confidential and use it solely to prepare and deliver your report and consultation. We do not sell your information.

3.Our Services

The REN Method provides Classical Feng Shui and Bazi (Chinese astrology) consulting, including personalized reports, home assessments, elemental alignment, and recommendations. Our services are intended for personal guidance, reflection, and well-being.

4.No Professional Advice; No Guarantees

Our services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other licensed advice, and nothing we provide should be relied upon as such. We make no guarantees or warranties about any specific outcome, result, income, health, or life change. Classical Feng Shui and Bazi are traditional metaphysical practices, and individual experiences vary.

5.Assumption of Risk & Hold Harmless

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make and any changes, adjustments, purchases, or actions you choose to take in your home, your space, or your life based on our guidance. You make these choices at your own discretion and risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The REN Method, MeetREN, Maggie Li, and our affiliates, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, injuries, or expenses arising out of or related to the actions you take, the changes you make, or your use of our services or the Site.

6.Limitation of Liability

The Site and our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The REN Method and its representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, property, opportunity, or well-being. In all cases, our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.

7.Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information (such as birth details and home materials) needed to deliver your service.
  • Use your own judgment, and consult appropriate licensed professionals, before making structural, financial, health, or other significant decisions.
  • Ensure any changes you make to your home comply with applicable laws, codes, and safety requirements.

8.Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, and all reports and materials we provide, are owned by The REN Method and are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or republish them without our written permission.

9.Third-Party Services & Links

The Site may link to or rely on third-party tools and platforms (for example, Calendly, Stripe, Google, and social media). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own policies.

10.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase services or enter into these Terms.

11.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent version. Your continued use of the Site or our services means you accept the updated Terms.

12.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
